Aqualite Applications

After several years of research and development, through pilot tests, water installation tests and experiences from different parts of the world, we supply units with a wide range of capacities from 0,2 to 100 m3/h. Some installations are mobile, mounted in a container, on a trailer or build in a frame according to the customer needs.

From an operative point of view, 15-20 minutes after arrival, mobile installations are ready to produce drinking water at full capacity. Before production, the filters shall be put in place by backwashing. The same operation shall be done after a day production to remove the retained particles.

Regarding the capacity, an installation mounted on a 2-tons trailer can produce between 7 and 15 m3/h drinking water according to WHO standard for drinking water corresponding to the drinking water needs of 5 to 12000 people during 8 to 10 hours production.

A small installation (weight 125 kg) on wheels produces between 0,2 and 0,7 m3/hour. Regarding the operation of the installation, it does not require very much know-how: a technician who can run a pump and has an understanding of the flow pattern of the installation and open valves, is able to run the installation.
