Aqualite Applications

AQUALITE with its unique properties, can be used to run several processes in one operation: filtration, chemical and biological reaction, ion exchange and reduction of the bacterial growth.

AQUALITE kills bacteria and reduces the number of Gardia, Cryptosporidium, Heterotropha, Coliforms, and E-coli up to min 92 to 98% from the feed water. This technique is approved by the United Nations technical experts and it fulfils the requirements for WHO standard for drinking water.

Other types of filtration materials can be combined wit AQUALITE either in the same filter bed or in combination, serial or parallel. This fact gives a large number of applications regarding industrial processes such as industrial waste water, sewer water treatments or treatment of other types of waters. The efficiency and the capacity of the system, gives a possibility of re circulation, which in some cases reduces the need for fresh water without altering the production process: The possibilities of development is therefore enormous in this field.

Sewage water

• Removal of nitrogen components, phosphates and heavy metals
